The view from the estate — green hills rolling down to the Pacific under an evening sky

Guanacaste · Costa Rica

Above Tamarindo

The estate sits in the low mountains behind Playa Langosta — high enough for the breeze and the long view, ten minutes from the sand.

The Long View

From the hilltop, the ocean view runs from Cabo Velas and Playa Grande across to the hills above Tamarindo and Avellanas. The neighbourhood is quiet and low-density — homes and small boutique hotels scattered through the hills, nothing pressing in.

Huacas, the everyday town for groceries and errands, is five minutes down the road. Tamarindo, with its restaurants and its beach, is ten.

Where the Baula Nests

A few minutes north, Playa Grande anchors Las Baulas National Marine Park — the world's second-largest nesting beach for the leatherback turtle, the baula. In season, guides lead night walks down the dark sand to watch her haul ashore, dig, and return to the water before first light.

She is the turtle in our logo. She lives here.

Getting Here

Liberia's international airport (Daniel Oduber Quirós) is the closest — about an hour by car. From the estate, everything else is minutes.
